Born and raised in the flattest part of the Czech Republic, I only started skiing when I was about 14 years old. However, I soon became hooked and have loved the sport ever since. When on a sabbatical, after 11+ years of working for international law firms and a private investment group, I volunteered with an organisation which introduced me to the concept of outdoor education and experiential learning. The people I worked with there inspired me to get back to the environment and the activities I feel good at and enjoy the most. Since then, I have spent a lot of time in the mountains and discovered how rewarding ski instructing can be. It’s a fresh and exciting change to see clients’ happy faces as they go down the hill knowing that they have made progress.
