Alex Fisher – It is quite weird that I love skiing. The first two years I spent on holiday in the Alps I didn’t see any snow and I was taken to see the sheep! Since then things have looked up. I skied most years from the age of 4 in Serre Chevalier. When I left school I followed the snow and skied all over the world, ending up last season in Japan. I have also enjoyed teaching children and coaching primary school children to swim.
While I am not skiing at home in the UK I try to perfect my skills in the kitchen or on the xbox! However if you’re lucky I will impart some tips on cooking banana flambé or cakes, which at altitude are a real black run.
I am really looking forward to this season in Zermatt.
