This year’s Ski test 17-18 took place in Austria. Rowena, Matterhorn Diamonds’s director has been part of the Ski Club of Great Britain’s test team for 7 years. Ski Industries of Great Britain runs the ski test ever year. Rowena leads the women’s team with Lynn Mill and over the course of 5 days they try out over 80 pairs of skis. The aim is to whittle down the list to choose the best skis according to a variety of categories. These include on-piste, all-mountain, freeride and freetour. The ski manufacturers represented in the UK included Atomic, Black Crows, Black Diamond, Blizzard, Dynastar, Faction, Head, K2, Kästle, Line, Movement, Rossignol, Salomon, Scott and Völkl.
