It’s time to get out the sunglasses and enjoy the chalky fresh snow!
In our latest Zermatt Weather Report, we can see that the weather has been fantastic since the big snowfall and smaller flurries that we have seen more recently. Now we have blue skies, and sunshine, warmer temperatures but the snow is staying in great condition even on lower slopes. Currently all the slopes and lifts are open, including all the runs down to Cervinia, so don’t delay, book your fondue lunch today! 😉
Matterhorn Diamonds still has some availability for instruction, or guiding for full or half days over the Easter period. So if you are looking for a tune-up, some hints and tips on getting down those steeper slopes or an introduction to getting down those mogul fields, give us a shout!
At this time of year the bump runs of Zermatt stand out particularly. If you’re looking to get some practise in, we would recommend trying the off piste to the skiers’ left and right of the Furgg Garten piste. Alternatively, you can head to the Stockhorn/Rote Nase area for a long run with nothing but bumps!
