To celebrate the first day of Rote Nase opening, Matterhorn Diamonds went on a little ski day with Mountain Exposure! Fresh powder on Stockhorn, still a week after the snowfall and plenty of it! Best. March. Snow. Ever!
We had around a metre of fresh powder in the last couple of weeks, and thanks to the stable high pressure that followed, the snow is cold and unaffected by wind and has meant that our spring conditions are about as good as they have ever been! All the itinerary (off piste) routes in Zermatt are now open and conditions in the run-up to Easter look pretty epic.
To keep up with the latest on which slopes are open, check out Zermatt’s interactive piste map.
And to check out the latest weather forecast, have a look at Meteocentrale!
If you’re looking for help to get your off piste technique just right or even if it’s your first foray into the fluffy stuff, let us know, we’d be happy to help! We have dedicated fully Swiss qualified off piste pros who know the slopes like the back of their ski glove. And they’re are ready to help you enjoy the Zermatt powder!
